When I first started narrowing in on Hilton Brand Properties, I quickly discovered the LXR brand. Usually above my budget every once in a while you can find a good rate. I kept this good rate and about 3 months prior to the date we started discussing another disney trip. This Disney trip could very easily coincide with one night in Santa Monica.

It’s been awhile since I’ve seen the sunset…but it was beautiful. ProTip: We’ve started filming the sunrise/sunsets in slo mo where we go. Its great to reflect back and see the difference what experiencing the sunset for 30-45 mins does, vs a sped up version. Slow,slight,continual changes make big differences overall is what I’ve gleamed from this.

About the hotel:

Not every room has the views in the pictures, but it was still pleasant to be here and appreciate the area from the hotel property.

There was a yoga at sunset going on on the second floor and loads of bikers and sunseekers out for a stroll. It’s a great, slower pace
