Candlelight Concert Series at the Museum

I’ve lived in Sacramento a very long time, growing up we would visit all the museums and spend the day out on the lawn in front of the Railroad Museum.

I don’t remember much about the museum itself (whoops) so going back…say 2-3 decades later it was cool to coordinate both a performance and an educational backdrop.

We arrived prior to the concert start, not just to get good seats as these candlelight series book in ‘sections’ and I do like being on the end of an aisle if possible.

Whitney Houston’s greatest hits with violinists play the tune and everyone singing along in the heads and hearts. It was a great night.

After the concert we toured the museum. A must see but even better as a combo!

Checkout their link for further performances like Coldplay, Queen and 90s unplugged!
